Sarah Eller RDH

Sarah Eller, RDH, IPDH is a 2014 graduate of New Hampshire Technical Institute’s Dental Hygiene
program. Sarah’s previously associated name in the industry was Sarah Clark, which changed with
her recent marriage to her husband Johnathan. With a passion for advocacy, Sarah went on to
volunteer for the Maine Dental Hygienists’ Association holding various roles including President,
through 2021, until relocating to North Carolina. She is also the only original board member for the
non-profit the National Network of Healthcare Hygienists, working towards medical & dental
integration. 
 
Sarah currently holds many roles in dentistry including Head of Clinical Operations for the NYC-based
startup Wally Health, Inc., Student Success Coordinator for StudentRDH, Adjunct Clinical faculty at
Coastal Carolina Community College, and co-owner of UpScale Education LLC. Recognized as an
international speaker and key opinion leader, Sarah presents continuing education programs with a
focus on balancing the oral microbiome and stress management in the clinical setting. 
 
She has also published articles in various dental publications such as RDH magazine & Dental
Entrepreneurial Women and contributed a chapter to the book Get Your Spit Together. Most
recently, Sarah became the first dental hygienist approved to administer local anesthesia in North
Carolina, and provided the first live injection to a patient by a hygienist in the state.
