Trent Stephens PHD.jpgDr Stephens graduated from Brigham Young University earning a BS in microbiology as well as an MS in Zoology. He earned his PhD in Anatomy from the University of Pennsylvania and completed a post doctorate in Paediatrics at the University of Washington. He taught Anatomy and Developmental Biology at Idaho State University’s Dental Education Program before retiring after 30 years. He continues to teach Gross Anatomy to dental students. His research on the normal and abnormal  biological form has produced approximately 100 papers and books published on the subject. He has authored and co-authored fourteen books, includingseveral Anatomy and Physiology textbooks and the critically acclaimed history of thalidomide, “Dark remedy – the Impact of Thalidomide and its revival as a Vital Medicine”
